Section 1Citation and commencement

These regulations may be cited as the Legal Advice and Assistance (Scope) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 1st August 1990.

Section 2Amendment to the Legal Advice and Assistance (Scope) Regulations 1989

In paragraph 2 of the Schedule to the Legal Advice and Assistance (Scope) Regulations 1989 —
(a) in sub-paragraph (b) after the word “under” there shall be inserted the words “the Matrimonial Proceedings (Magistrates' Courts) Act 1960 or”;
(b) after sub-paragraph (g) there shall be inserted the following new sub-paragraph—
(h) under section 10A of the Fire Precautions Act 1971 ,
