Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Highways (Road Humps) (Amendment) Regulations 1990, and shall come into force on 22nd August 1990.

Section 2

The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1990 are hereby amended so that—

(a) in regulation 4, in paragraph (3), for sub-paragraph (b) there is substituted the following sub-paragraph—

(b) in respect of the hump, or where there is a series of humps, the first hump in the series, at least one of the requirements specified in paragraph (4) below is satisfied.

(b) in regulation 5(2) and (4) for the word “drawing” there is substituted the word “diagram”.
