Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Dartford—Thurrock Crossing (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 1st September 1990.

Section 2

The Dartford—Thurrock Crossing Regulations 1989 shall be amended in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations.

Section 3

In regulation 1 (citation, commencement and interpretation) there shall be inserted, after paragraph (2)(b), the following sub-paragraph—

(bb) “large break-down vehicle” means a break-down vehicle with an unladen weight in excess of 4,000 kg ;
