Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Isles of Scilly (Variation) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 26th September 1990.

Section 2Variation of the Isles of Scilly Order 1978

The Isles of Scilly Order 1978 is hereby varied by the insertion, after paragraph (2) of article 6, of the following paragraph–

(2A) Section 137(4AA) of the Act shall apply as if the Council were a metropolitan district council.
