Section 1Citation and commencement
(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemption) (England) (No. 3) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 13th November 1990.

Section 2Exemption
The managing of sports and leisure facilities by Kennet District Council at the premises known as the Marlborough Leisure Centre shall not be treated as a defined activity within the meaning of section 2(2) (ee) of the Local Government Act 1988 so long as the premises remain vested in that council and remain subject to a right of Marlborough College to use the facilities.
