Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Competition) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 20th November 1990.

Section 2
Schedules 2, 3 and 4 to the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Competition) (England) Regulations 1988 are amended by substituting for the dates “1st January 1991” and “1st August 1991”, wherever they appear in relation to the defined activity of other cleaning, the dates “1st August 1991” and “1st January 1992” respectively.
