Subject to article 3 below, the Crown Agents shall have power to carry on in their own right anywhere in the world any of the following activities:
(1) Providing to any person any of the following services–
(a) Services mentioned in section 5(2) paragraphs (a) to (j) inclusive of the Act;
(b) Acting as a registrar, and performing related functions, for the purpose of any loan raised by any person;
(c) Procuring movable property of any kind being property required by any person and selling such property to any such person who requires it;
(d) Assembling, installing, commissioning or maintaining any of the equipment procured and sold in pursuance of sub-paragraph (c);
(e) Providing credit on commercial terms in connection with the sale of any movable property in pursuance of sub-paragraph (c).
(2)
(a) Procuring movable property of any kind, being property for which the Crown Agents anticipate a demand on the part of any person and selling any such property to any such person or to any other person or to a scheduled authority or body;
(b) Providing credit on commercial terms in connection with the sale of any movable property in pursuance of sub-paragraph (a).
