Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Broadcasting (Number of Houses in an Area for Purposes of Diffusion Service Licence) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 1st January 1991.

Section 2
The number of dwelling-houses for the purposes of paragraph 7(1) (and paragraph 9(5)(b)) of Part II of Schedule 12 to the Broadcasting Act 1990 is hereby prescribed as one thousand.
