The new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the route described in the schedule to this Order which connects the main new trunk road with another highway at the place stated in that schedule (the new highway along this route being in this Order referred to as “the slip road”), shall become a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.

The A41 London—Birmingham Trunk Road (Berkhamsted Bypass Slip Road) Order 1990

In this Order
(a) “the deposited plan” means the plan numbered HA10/2E/322, marked “The A41 London—Birmingham Trunk Road (Berkhamsted Bypass Slip Road) Order 1990”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY;
(b) “the main new trunk road” means the new trunk road to be constructed in pursuance of the A41 London—Birmingham Trunk Road (Berkhamsted Bypass) Order 1985 and the Amendment Order (being the road referred to, in the Amendment Order, as the “main trunk road”); and
(c) “the Amendment Order” means the A41 London—Birmingham Trunk Road (Berkhamsted Bypass) Order 1985 Amendment Order and New Trunk Roads Order 1990 .
This Order shall come into force on 24th January 1991 and may be cited as the A41 London—Birmingham Trunk Road (Berkhamsted Bypass Slip Road) Order 1990.
