The Police Cadets (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1990

Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Police Cadets (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1990.

Section 2

These Regulations shall come into force on 1st February 1991 and shall have effect for the purposes of regulation 3(a) and (b) as from 1st September 1990.

Section 3

The Police Cadets Regulations 1979 shall be amended as follows:

(a) in regulation 13(1), there shall be substituted for paragraphs (a) and (b) thereof the words “Schedule 2 hereto”;

(b) for the Table in Schedule 2 (scales of pay) there shall be substituted the following Table—

(c) for paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 (charge for board and lodging) there shall be substituted the following paragraph—

(2) The annual rate of charge shall be—

(a) in the case of a police cadet attached to the Metropolitan Police force, £603;

(b) in any other case, £558.
