Section 1
This Order may be cited as the British Citizenship (Designated Service) (Amendment) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 16th February 1990.

Section 2
In the Schedule to the British Citizenship (Designated Service) Order 1982 (which specifies descriptions of service designated for the purposes of section 2 of the British Nationality Act 1981) after paragraph 13 there shall be inserted the following paragraph–
(14) Service under the European Patent Office.
