Section 1Title and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the River Ness Salmon Fishery District (Baits and Lures) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 5th March 1990.

Section 2Specification of baits and lures and areas of application

Natural prawns and shrimps (whether fresh or preserved, dyed or natural colour) and any part thereof are, in relation to the River Ness salmon fishery district, specified for the purposes of the definition of “rod and line” in section 24(1) of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Protection) (Scotland) Act 1951 .
