Section 1

The length of the highway described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by a thick black line on the deposited plan shall, as from the date on which this Order comes into force, become a trunk road known as “The A663 Broadway, A627(M) to Manchester City Boundary, Trunk Road”.

Section 2

In this Order—

(i) “the deposited plan” means the plan numbered NWRT 5083/80/1 (1) marked “The A663 Broadway (A627(M) to Manchester City Boundary) (Trunking) Order 1990” signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY;

(ii) “the A663 Road” means Broadway at Chadderton, in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham which is a Principal Road;

(iii) “A627(M)” means the Rochdale — Lancashire/Yorkshire Motorway — Oldham Special Road, which is a Principal Road Motorway.

Section 3

This Order shall come into force on 20th March 1990 and may be cited as the A663 Broadway (A627(M) to Manchester City Boundary) (Trunking) Order 1990.
