Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the River Tay Catchment Area Protection (Renewal) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 30th January 1990.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order “the 1986 Order ” means the River Tay Catchment Area Protection Order 1986 .

Section 3 Renewal of Order

The 1986 Order is hereby renewed.

Section 4 Prohibition

During the period from 30th January 1990 to 29th January 1993, both dates inclusive, fishing for or taking freshwater fish in the inland waters in the area prescribed in article 4 of the 1986 Order, without legal right or without written permission from a person having such a right, is hereby prohibited.
