Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Invalid Care Allowance) Amendment Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 9th April 1990.

Section 2Amendment of the Social Security (Invalid Care Allowance) Regulations 1976

In regulation 8(1) of the Social Security (Invalid Care Allowance) Regulations 1976 (circumstances in which a person is or is not to be treated as gainfully employed) for the sum of £12 in each place where it occurs, there shall be substituted the sum of £20.

Section 3Revocation

The Social Security (Invalid Care Allowance) Amendment Regulations 1982 are hereby revoked.
