Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Swine Fever (Amendment) Order 1991and shall come into force on 12th May 1991.

Section 2 Amendment

In article 3 of the Swine Fever Order 1963 for paragraph (4) there shall be substituted thefollowing—

(4) In this Article,“meat inspector” means any person who, as respects England and Wales, by virtue ofregulation 2(1) of the Meat Inspection Regulations 1987 is an inspector for the purposes of those Regulations,or as respects Scotland, by virtue of regulation 2(1) of the Food (MeatInspection) (Scotland) Regulations 1988 is an inspector or a meat inspector for the purposes ofthose Regulations.
