Section 1

The County Council of Humberside (Newland Bridge) Scheme 1990 ishereby confirmed with modifications.

Section 2

The said Scheme as confirmed (hereinafter referred to as“the Scheme”) is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of the Scheme withits accompanying plans are desposited at the offices of the Departmentof Transport, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY and at the offices ofthe Humberside County Council, County Hall, Beverley, HU17 9BA.

Section 3

The Scheme will become operative on the date on which notice that ithas been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 ofSchedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 4

This Instrument may be cited as the County Council of Humberside(Newland Bridge) Scheme 1990 Confirmation Instrument 1991.

Section 1

The Council are authorised to construct over the navigable waters of the River Aire the Bridge specified in the Schedule to the Scheme as part of the highway which the Council are proposing to construct from the western extremity of the roundabout which it is proposed to provide immediately to the north west of the A614 Rawcliffe Road bridge in the Borough of Boothferry in the County of Humberside generally north westwards to the southern extremityof the roundabout which it is proposed to provide at the junction ofA645 Camblesforth Road and C338 New Road in the District of Selby in theCounty of North Yorkshire.

This Scheme may be cited as The County Council of Humberside (Newland Bridge) Scheme 1990.
