(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Central Council for Educationand Training in Social Work (Functions) Regulations 1991 and shall comeinto force on3rd June 1991.

Section 2Functions conferred on the Council
There are hereby conferred on the Council such functions in relationto social work other than relevant social work as are conferred on themby section 10 of the Health and Social Services and Social SecurityAdjudications Act 1983 in relation to relevant social work, includinglimitations as to the exercise of those functions which are equivalentto those provided for in relation to relevant social work by section10(4), (8), (9) and (10) of that Act.
