Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Employment Codes of Practice(Revocation) Order 1991 and comes into force on 1st June 1991.

Section 2 Revocation of Codes of Practice

The following Codes of Practice are revoked —

(a) the Code of Practice having effect under paragraph 4 of Schedule 17to the Employment Protection Act 1975 (known as the Industrial Relations Code of Practice);

(b) the Code of Practice issued in 1983 under section 3 of theEmployment Act 1980 entitled“Closed Shop Agreements and Arrangements”.
