This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (InternationalCo-operation) Act 1990 (Exercise of Powers) Order 1991 and shall comeinto operation on 1st July 1991.

The Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990 (Exercise of Powers) Order 1991
In this Order—
“ the Act ” means the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990;
“officer” means a person commissioned by the Commissioners of Customs andExcise under section 6(3) of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979 .
In England and Wales and Northern Ireland, any powers exercisable bya constable under section 7 of the Act, shall also be exercisable by anofficer or by any person acting under the direction of an officer.
In Scotland, any powers to enter, search or seize granted undersection 8(1) of the Act shall also be exercisable by an officer or byany person acting under the direction of an officer.
