Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Carriers' Liability Prescribed Sum) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 1st August 1991.

Section 2

In place of the sum of £1,000 specified as payable under section 1(1) of the Immigration (Carriers' Liability) Act 1987 (liability of carriers for passengers without proper documents) the sum of £2,000 is hereby prescribed.
