These Regulations may be cited as the Legal Aid (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 19th August 1991.

The Legal Aid (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 1991
Notwithstanding the relationship between or rights of a legal representative and client or any privilege arising out of such relationship, the legal representative shall not be precluded from disclosing to any person authorised by the Board to request it, any information which relates to advice, assistance and representation provided to a client or former client of his where that client is or was a legally assisted person which is requested for the purpose of enabling the Board to discharge its functions under the Legal Aid Act 1988.
