Section 1 Citation, commencement and application

–

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (School Curriculum and Related Information) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 28th August 1991.

(2) These Regulations apply to schools in Wales only.

Section 2 Interpretation

In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Education (School Curriculum and Related Information) (Wales) Regulations 1991 .

Section 3 Amendment of the Principal Regulations

The principal Regulations are hereby amended as follows:–

(a) for the reference in paragraph (4)(a) of regulation 2 to “subsection (1)(c)” there shall be substituted “subsection (1)(a)”;

(b) for paragraph (5) of regulation 2 there shall be substituted:–

(5) For the purposes of any such reference the information specified in paragraph 1 of Schedule 2, so far as it relates to the chairman of the governors and is correct at the date specified for the purposes of regulation 12(2), shall be deemed to relate to the school year to which the rest of the information specified in the said paragraph relates.

(c) for the reference in paragraph (1) of regulation 3 to “section 8(5) of the Act of 1980” there shall be substituted “section 8(5)(a) of the Act of 1980”;

(d) for the reference in paragraph (3) of regulation 4 to “regulation 17 of Schedule 2” there shall be substituted “paragraph 15 of Schedule 2”;

(e) for the reference in paragraph (2) of regulation 5 to “subsection (9) of section 8 of the Act of 1980” there shall be substituted “subsection (1) of section 8 of the Act of 1980”; and

(f) for the reference in paragraph (2) of regulation 9 to “paragraph 17 of Schedule 2” there shall be substituted “paragraph 15 of Schedule 2”.
