This Order may be cited as the A12 Trunk Road (Eastern Avenue, Redbridge) (Prohibition of Right Turn and U-Turns) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 10th August 1991.

The A12 Trunk Road (Eastern Avenue, Redbridge) (Prohibition of Right Turn and U-Turns) Order 1991
In this Order–
“the central reservation” means that part of Eastern Avenue which separates its two carriageways for the safety and guidance of vehicular traffic using that road;
“Eastern Avenue” means that length of the A12 Trunk Road in the London Borough of Redbridge; and
“the junction” means the junction of Eastern Avenue with the highway in Ilford known as The Drive.
Save as provided in article 5 of this Order, no person shall at the junction cause or permit any vehicle to make a right turn into Eastern Avenue from the Drive.
Save as provided in article 5 of this Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle which is proceeding in Eastern Avenue to make a U-turn through the gap in the central reservation opposite the junction so as to proceed in the opposite direction.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a constable in uniform or of a traffic warden.
