Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Banking Act 1987 (Exempt Transactions) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 2nd October 1991.

Section 2Amendment of principal Regulations

The Banking Act 1987 (Exempt Transactions) Regulations 1988 shall be amended as follows:
(a) in regulation 1(2) the definition of “the Council” shall be deleted; and
(b) in regulation 13(a) for the words “the Council” in each place where they occur there shall be substituted the words “The Stock Exchange”.
