The Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 (Variation of Fees) (No. 2) Order 1991

Section 1

(1) This Order may ce cited as the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 (Variation of Fees) (No. 2) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 2nd December 1991.

(2) This Order shall not extend to Scotland.

Section 2

Paragraph 20(1) (grant or renewal of permit or licence) of Schedule 1 (bookmaker’s permits, betting agency permits and betting office licences) to the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 shall be amended by the substitution, for paragraphs (a) to (e), of the following paragraphs:

(a) in the case of the grant of a bookmaker’s permit, £133;

(b) in the case of the grant of a betting agency permit, £133 ;

(c) in the case of the grant of a betting office licence, £106 ;

(d) in the case of the renewal of a bookmaker’s permit or betting agency permit, £16

(e) in the case of the renewal of a betting office licence, £20 ;

Section 3

The Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 (Variation of Fees) Order 1987 is hereby revoked.
