Section 1Citation and interpretation
(1) This Order may be cited as the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (Commencement No. 1) (Scotland) Order 1991.
(2) In this Order—
“ the Act ” means the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.

Section 2Commencement of certain provisions of the Act
(1) The provisions of the Act specified in the first column of Schedule 1 to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in the second column thereof) shall come into force on 21st October 1991.
(2) The provisions of the Act specified in the first column of Schedule 2 to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in the second column thereof) shall come into force on 1st November 1991.
