Section 1Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Whitehaven Harbour Revision Order 1991 and shall come into force on 8th February 1991.

(2) The Whitehaven Town and Harbour Acts and Order 1708 to 1981 and this Order may be cited together as the Whitehaven Town and Harbour Acts and Orders 1708 to 1991.

Section 2Amendment of article 13 of Scheme of 1894

Paragraph (a) of article 13 of the Borough and Harbour of Whitehaven Scheme 1894 (which precludes any woman being appointed or elected as a Harbour Commissioner) shall cease to have effect.
