Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Mining Industry Act 1926 (Metrication) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 30th November 1991.

Section 2Mining Industry Act 1926

On and after 1st January 1995, in section 23(1) of the Mining Industry Act 1926 , for the words “one hundred feet” there shall be substituted “30.480 metres”.
