Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may cited as the Fire Precautions (Sub-surface Railway Stations) (Amendment) Regulations 1991, and shall come into force on 1st April 1991.

Section 2Amendment of the Fire Precautions (Sub-surface Railway Stations) Regulations 1989
For paragraph (2) of regulation 13 of the Fire Precautions (Sub-surface Railway Stations) Regulations 1989 , there shall be substituted the following paragraph:—
(2) The requirements of paragraphs (8) and (9) of regulation 4 above shall be deemed to be satisfied in station premises in Scotland if the premises comply with regulation 13 of the Building Standards (Scotland) Regulations 1990 , as read with specifications E2.43 and E2.44 taken together contained in the Technical Standards for Compliance with the Building Standards (Scotland) Regulations 1990 dated October 1990 .
