Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on the 1st April 1991.

Section 2
In section 97(7) of the Transport Act 1968 in the definition of “the Community Recording Equipment Regulation” after the words “on recording equipment in road transport” there shall be inserted the words “as amended by article 1 as read with article 3 of Commision Regulation ( EEC ) No. 3314/90 of 16th November 1990 and”.
Section 3
In regulation 1(3) of the Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) Regulations 1979 in the definition of the “Community Recording Equipment Regulation” after the words “on recording equipment in road transport” there shall be inserted the words “as amended by article 1 as read with article 3 of Commission Regulation (EEC) No. 3314/90 of 16th November 1990 and”.
