Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Merseyside Traffic Control System (Revocation) (No. 2) Order 1991 and shall come into force on the 31st March 1991.

Section 2

(1) The Merseyside Traffic Control System (Revocation) Order 1991 is hereby amended as follows.

(2) In article 2–

(a) for paragraph (1) there shall be substituted the following paragraph–

(1) The Merseyside Traffic Control System (Transfer) Order 1986 is hereby revoked.

(b) after paragraph (1), there shall be inserted the following paragraph–

(1A) Article 3 of the Merseyside Traffic Control System (Transfer) Order 1988 shall be omitted.

(3) After article 3 there shall be inserted the following article–

(3A) Subject to articles 4and 5, Part V of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 shall have effect as from revocation date as if the Merseyside Traffic Control System (Transfer) Order 1986 had never been made.
