Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Children’s Pensions) (Earnings Limit) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 8th April 1991.

Section 2Increase in children’s earnings limit
The sum mentioned in section 21(1)(c)(ii) of the Judicial Pensions Act 1981 (which excludes from the definition of “period of childhood and full-time education” a person over 16 who is undergoing training if the emoluments payable by his employer are more than the said sum) is hereby increased from £1398 to £1550.
Section 3Revocation of previous order
The Superannuation (Children’s Pensions) (Earnings Limit) Order 1990 is hereby revoked.
