Section 1 Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Pneumoconiosis etc. (Workers'Compensation) (Payment of Claims) (Amendment) Regulations 1991 and shallcome into force on 1st April 1991.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to any case in which a personfirst satisfies the conditions of entitlement to a payment under the Acton or after the date on which they come into force.

Section 2 Interpretation

In these Regulations the“ principal Regulations ” means the Pneumoconiosis etc. (Workers' Compensation) (Payment ofClaims) Regulations 1988 .

Section 3 Amendment of the principal Regulations

(1) The principal Regulations shall be amended in accordance with thefollowing provisions of this Regulation.

(2)

(a) the Schedule to these Regulations shall be substituted for theSchedule to those Regulations, and

(b) the amount of £1,606 shall be substituted for the amount of £1,473in Regulations 5(1) and 8 of those Regulations, and the amount of £3,322shall be substituted for the amount of £3,048 in regulation 6(1) ofthose Regulations.
