This Order may be cited as the National Health Service (District Health Authorities) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 24th February 1992.

The National Health Service (District Health Authorities) Order 1992
The following District Health Authorities are hereby abolished—
(a) Cheltenham and District Health Authority;
(b) Gloucester Health Authority.
Gloucestershire Health Authority is established a District Health Authority for Gloucestershire District .
In consequence of articles 2 and 3 of this Order the National Health Service (District Health Authorities) Order 1990 shall be amended by the omission from Part 11 of Schedule 1 of the entries in columns (1) and (2) relating to Cheltenham District and Gloucester District and the insertion before the entries in that part relating to North Devon District of the entries in columns (1) and (2) respectively—
“Gloucestershire Health Authority”.
