Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Gatwick Airport London (Cargo Area Designation) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 25th June 1992.

Section 2

In this Order—

“the deposited plan” means the plan marked “The Gatwick Airport London (Cargo Area Designation) Order 1992”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the Department of Transport, Parliamentary Library, Room P3/001, 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3EB; and

“the cargo area” means the cargo storage and handling area at Gatwick Airport London, which is shown edged red on the deposited plan.

Section 3

The cargo area is hereby designated for the purposes of section 27 of the Aviation Security Act 1982.
