Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Poultry Flocks, Hatcheries and Processed Animal Protein (Fees) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 15th July 1992.

Section 2 Fees

(1) There shall be paid in respect of each transaction described in column (1) of the Schedule the fee specified in column (2) of the Schedule.

(2) In the case of the transactions in items 1 and 2 of the Schedule the fee shall be paid to the appropriate Minister.

(3) In the case of other transactions in the Schedule the fee shall be paid to the Minister.

(4) In the case of a transaction numbered 1, 2(a), 2(b), 2(d) or 5 in the Schedule the fee shall be paid by the applicant when making the application for registration or authorisation.

(5) In the case of any other transaction in the Schedule the fee shall be paid by the person in whose name the premises are registered under the appropriate Order, such fee being payable within 14 days of demand being made by the appropriate Minister or the Minister as the case may be.

(6) Any reference in this article to a Schedule is a reference to the Schedule to this Order.

Section 3 Revocations

The Poultry Flocks, Hatcheries and Processed Animal Protein (Fees) Order 1990 and the Poultry Flocks, Hatcheries and Processed Animal Protein (Fees) (Amendment) Order 1991 are hereby revoked.

Section 1

Application for registration under article 9(3) of the Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc. ) Order 1989 .

Section 2

(a) Application for registration or renewal of registration under article 3(3), 4(3), 3(8) or 4(8) of the Poultry Breeding Flocks and Hatcheries (Registration and Testing) Order 1989 ;

Section 4

(a) Examination of samples from breeding flocks by an officer of the Minister, taken under paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 3 to, that Order, of—

(i) a composite faeces sample

Section 5

(a) Inspection prior to the authorisation of a laboratory for the purposes of the Orders referred to above or the Processed Animal Protein Order 1989 ;

Section 6

Inspection of a laboratory with a view to deciding whether the annual authorisation should be renewed or revoked.
