The Sports Grounds and Football (Amendment of Various Orders) Order 1992

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Sports Grounds and Football (Amendment of Various Orders) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st August 1992.

Section 2

(1) The Orders specified in paragraph (2) below shall be amended, in the places specified, in each case by inserting after the words “Football League” the words “or the Football Association Premier League”.

(2) The Orders, and the places in them, referred to in paragraph (1) above, are—

(a) the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) Order 1985 , in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 2 and paragraph 1 of Part III of that Schedule;

(b) the Football Spectators (Designation of Football Matches in England and Wales) Order 1990 , in article 2(2)(a)(i);

(c) the Football Spectators (Designation of Football Matches outside England and Wales) Order 1990 , in article 2(3)(b); and

(d) the Football (Offences) (Designation of Football Matches) Order 1991 , in article 2(2)(a)(i).
