Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Tests) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force—

(a) for the purposes of regulations 4 and 5 on 1st January 1993, and

(b) for all other purposes on 1st August 1992.

Section 2 Introduction

The Motor Vehicles (Tests) Regulations 1981 shall be further amended in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations.

Section 3 Amendments coming into force on 1st August 1992

In the regulations specified in column 1 of the Table below for the amounts specified in column 2 of the Table there shall be substituted the amounts specified in column 3 of the Table.

Section 4 Amendments coming into force on 1st January 1993

In regulation 20, for sub-paragraph (b) in paragraph (1) there shall be substituted—

(aa) in the case of a motor bicycle with a side car attached to it, £17.30;

(b) in the case of a vehicle in Class III , £20.30;

Section 5 Amendments coming into force on 1st January 1993

In the regulations specified in column 1 of the Table below for the amounts specified in column 2 of the Table (as substituted by regulation 3 above) there shall be substituted the amounts specified in column 3 of the Table.
