This Order may be cited as the Sheriff (Removal from Office) Order 1992 and shall come into operation on the day following the expiry, in relation to this Order, of the period of forty days mentioned in section 5(1) of the Statutory Instruments Act 1946 .
Sheriff Ewen Stewart, at present a sheriff for the Sheriffdom of Grampian, Highland and Islands, is hereby removed from the office of sheriff.
