The Road Traffic Act 1991 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1992
Section 2Citation and Interpretation
In this Order, “the 1991 Act ” means the Road Traffic Act 1991.
Section 3Commencement provisions
(1) Section 35 of the 1991 Act shall come into force on 2nd March 1992, in so far as it is not already in force.
(2) The following provisions of the 1991 Act shall come into force on 1st April 1992—
(a) section 48, to the extent necessary for the bringing into force of the provision referred to in sub-paragraph (b) below; and
(b) paragraph 102 of Schedule 4.
Section 4Transitional provisions relating to fixed penalty offences
Paragraph 102 of Schedule 4 to the 1991 Act shall not apply to an offence alleged to have been committed before 1st April 1992.
