Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Residential Care Homes (Amendment) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 1st October 1992.

(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Residential Care Homes Regulations 1984 .

Section 2 Amendment of regulation 3 of the principal Regulations

In regulation 3 of the principal Regulations (fees on application for registration)—

(a) in paragraph (1) the words “Subject to paragraph (2) of this regulation,” shall be omitted;

(b) in paragraph (1)(a) for “£210” there shall be substituted “£230”;

(c) in paragraph (1)(b) for “£770” there shall be substituted “£840”;

(d) paragraph (2) shall be revoked.

Section 3 Amendment of regulation 5 of the principal Regulations

In regulation 5(1) of the principal Regulations (annual fee) for “£37” there shall be substituted “£41”.

Section 4 Revocations

Regulations 2 and 3 of the Residential Care Homes (Amendment) Regulations 1986 , regulations 2 and 3 of the Residential Care Homes (Amendment) Regulations 1988 , and regulations 5 and 6 of the Residential Care Homes (Amendment) Regulations 1991 are hereby revoked.
