The Education (Higher Education Corporations) (No. 8) Order 1992

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Education (Higher Education Corporations) (No. 8) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 30th September 1992.

Section 2

There shall be established on 30th September 1992—

(a) a body corporate to be known as Wimbledon School of Art to conduct the institution known by that name from 1st April 1993; and

(b) a body corporate to be known as Kent College for the Careers Service to conduct the institution known by that name from 1st April 1993,

being in each case institutions which appear to the Secretary of State to satisfy the criteria set out in section 122(1) of the Education Reform Act 1988.

Section 3

1st April 1993 is hereby appointed as the transfer date for each such corporation for the purposes of section 126 of that Act.
