Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Aberdeen Royal Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Appointment of Trustees) Order 1992, and shall come into force on 1st October 1992.

(2) In this Order unless the context otherwise requires—

“the Act” means the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978;

“the trust” means the Aberdeen Royal Hospitals National Health Service Trust.

Section 2 Appointment of trustees

The chairman, non-executive directors and executive directors of the trust are appointed trustees ex officiis for the purpose of holding any property which is to be held in trust on behalf of the trust under section 12G of the Act.
