Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (General Medical Services) Amendment Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 2 November 1992.

Section 2 Amendment of Regulations

(1) The National Health Service (General Medical Services) Regulations 1992 shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs of this regulation.

(2) In Schedule 10 (drugs and other substances not to be prescribed for supply under pharmaceutical services)—

(a) the following entries shall be omitted:—

Cyanocobalamin tablets (any strength)

(b) the following entries shall be inserted at such places in the alphabetical order of the entries in that Schedule as are appropriate, having regard to the initial letter of each entry:—

(3) In Schedule 11 (drugs to be prescribed under pharmaceutical services only in certain circumstances), after the entries relating to Clobazam, there shall be inserted in columns 1, 2 and 3 respectively the following—
