These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Unemployment, Sickness and Invalidity Benefit) Amendment Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 17th December 1992.

The Social Security (Unemployment, Sickness and Invalidity Benefit) Amendment Regulations 1992
For sub-paragraph (c) of paragraph (2) of regulation 12D of the Social Security (Unemployment, Sickness and Invalidity Benefit) Regulations 1983 (persons deemed to be actively seeking employment) there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraph–
(c) if he is a blind person, a maximum of 6 weeks, whether consecutive or not, during which, apart from a period of no more than 2 weeks, he participates for a maximum period of 4 weeks in a course of training in the use of guide dogs of which at least 3 days in each such week is spent in that training.
