These Regulations may be cited as the Child Benefit (Residence and Persons Abroad) Amendment Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 28th December 1992.

The Child Benefit (Residence and Persons Abroad) Amendment Regulations 1992
In regulation 6(1)(a) of the Child Benefit (Residence and Persons Abroad) Regulations 1976 (persons to whom Part II of those Regulations applies) for the words “whose employment is by or under the Crown” there shall be substituted the words “who is employed by the civil service of the United Kingdom, and is paid a salary or wages by a government department of the United Kingdom,”.
