The Education (Further Education Corporations) (No. 3) Order 1992

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Education (Further Education Corporations) (No. 3) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 29th December 1992 (“the Commencement Date”).

Section 2

On the Commencement Date there shall be established for the purpose of conducting from the operative date each of the educational institutions specified in Parts I and II of the Schedule to this Order a body corporate called by the same name as the institution it is to conduct.

Section 3

On 1st March 1993 there shall be established a body corporate called “The Ridge College, Stockport” for the purpose of conducting from the operative date the existing educational institution of that name.

Section 4

The “operative date”, in relation to the further education corporations established by this Order and the institutions which they are to conduct, shall be—

(a) in the case of the educational institutions specified in Parts I and II of the Schedule to this Order, 1st April 1993; or

(b) in the case of The Ridge College, Stockport, 1st September 1993.
