Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemption) (Stockport Borough Council) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st January 1993.

Section 2Exemption of sports and leisure management

The management of sports and leisure facilities by the Stockport Borough Council shall not be treated as a defined activity so long as it is undertaken at the Stockport Grand Central Pool, Station Road, Stockport before 1st September 1993.
