Section 1Citation and interpretation
(1) These Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1992 (Commencement No.2) Order 1992.
(2) In this Order “the 1992 Act ” means the Local Government Act 1992.

Section 2Provisions of the 1992 Act coming into force on 4th January 1993
The following provisions of the 1992 Act shall come into force on 4th January 1993—
section 9; and
section 11, so far as it relates to paragraphs 6. 7, 13 and 14 of Schedule 1.
Section 3Provisions of the 1992 Act coming into force on 14th February 1993
The following provisions of the 1992 Act shall come into force on 14th February 1993—
section 10; and
section 11, so far as it relates to paragraphs 1 and 11 of Schedule 1.
Section 4Provisions of the 1992 Act coming into force on 14th March 1994
Section 11 of the 1992 Act shall come into force on 14th March 1994 so far as it relates to paragraphs 2(2), (3) and 8 of Schedule 1.
